Yin energy cultivates feelings of stillness, and reflects a more passive physical practice. Mainly floor based poses are held for 3-5 minutes where gentle and controlled stress is placed on joints where the ligaments and connective tissues of the body live. All props are provided and their use is encouraged to support the body so that the muscles are completely relaxed. Practice will end in a guided meditation.

Come move and learn about body/mind connections with this all levels Hatha yoga class suitable for all experiences. Ideal as an introduction to yoga practice or slow and way to end your day. You will learn different breathing techniques and interlink them with somatic movement in static and dynamic ways. Practice ended with a short guided meditation or pranayama practice.
